Duke Stone is one of my favorite pastors, teachers, and overall people. The book highlights his skill at bringing you into the lesson with simple yet full descriptions. He is a gifted story teller. The very first devotion gave me chills. Highly recommend. We can all use the reminder to look for the extraordinary in the ordinary.

The devotional is full of authentic reflections of faith. Each day is short enough to include in your busy schedule, yet full of rich practices that will renew your passion and purpose in everyday life. This is a must read and a great gift from college/career to golden year readers.

I enjoyed walking through these devotions each day and was encouraged by the insight Duke Stone provided into the scriptures. His practical insight and prayers are a great way to begin a day.

I have known Duke 10+ years,first as my sons' headmaster at school and then as my pastor. I learned more sitting under him than I had in my whole Christian life before that. Reading this book once again challenged me to " think outside the box" which was Duke's way of teaching. If your "hungry" to "understand" more of the Lord.... This book is a MUST read.

I love how impactful the stories are. I now read it at night to my husband and mentally challenged daughter just before saying their prayers. My husband has started going to church in the last couple of years and I believe this book and the other books by Duke Stone will help my husband and daughter to know Jesus better.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading “The Other Side Finding Peace in the Middle of Your Storm”. I found lots of insightful teaching. The questions and reflection at the end of each chapter encourage deeper thought and prayer for applying the principles that are covered in each chapter. I highly recommend not just reading the book but taking time to reflect and internalize the messages.

My home library includes several books by Duke Stone, and I have never been disappointed with anything of his I have read. I have come to know I can count on his style of breaking down the details of a scripture in a way that gives me new inspiration while maintaining biblical soundness. His latest book, will speak to readers on the much needed topic of finding peace, now really who could not use some advice on that subject?

I ordered The Other Side because I value Bible studies that are rooted in Scripture and practical application. Duke Stone has a reputation for clear, faithful teaching, and I’m looking forward to starting this study soon. Duke Stone is a great leader and teacher. He has been a great blessing and Inspiration to me and my family.
